Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) Parish Project No. #GB-KA-02-19, Killona Community Center Addition to decrease the contract amount by $125.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 19-9-4 adopted September 23, 2019 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of the Killona Community Center Addition Project to Williams Contractors & Construction Services, LLC, of Laplace, LA in the amount of $224,600.00; and,
WHEREAS, the contract is substantially complete; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract resulting in a decrease in the contract price by $125.00, as shown on the Change Order form.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. #GB-KA-02-19, Killona Community Center Addition to decrease the contract amount by $125.00 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2020, to become effective five (5) days after this publication in the official journal.
