Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for the Davis-Barton Drainage Improvements for the West Bank Drainage Improvements to increase the contract amount by $100,279.00 and increase the contract time by 45 calendar days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 98-9-5 adopted September 8, 1998, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Civil Construction Contractors, Inc. for the construction of the Davis-Barton Drainage Improvements for the West Bank Drainage Improvements in the amount of $1,725,120.00.
SECTION II. That it is necessary to increase the original contract amount and increase the original contract time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Davis-Barton Drainage Improvements for the West Bank Drainage Improvements, to increase the contract amount by $100,279.00 and increase the contract time by 45 calendar days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
