Title
A resolution appointing Mr. Mikel Melton to the St. Charles Parish Communications District representing the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Body
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the ST. CHARLES PARISH COMMUNICATIONS DISTRICT due to the resignation of Mrs. Amanda Pertuis on March 12, 2024; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to fill this vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mr. Mikel Melton 260 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway, Luling, LA 70070 is hereby appointed to fill the unexpired term on the ST. CHARLES PARISH COMMUNICATIONS DISTRICT representing the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appointment shall be effective IMMEDIATELY and shall expire AUGUST 19, 2027.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
