Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Fleming Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of Parish Project No. S030201, Montz Intermediate Lift Station, the amount of $344,715.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on September 3, 2004 for Montz Intermediate Lift Station; and,
WHEREAS, Hartman Engineering, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Fleming Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $344,715.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Fleming Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. S030201, Montz Intermediate Lift Station, be hereby accepted in the amount of $344,715.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
