Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Sealevel Construction, Inc. for the construction of Parish Project No. P070801, Furnish and Install Flex Rake Bar Screen Cleaners at the Davis-Barton and Kellogg Pump Stations in the amount of $825,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on September 13, 2007 for Furnish and Install Flex Rake Bar Screen Cleaners at the Davis-Barton and Kellogg Pump Stations; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Public Works for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Sealevel Construction, Inc. in the amount of $825,000.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Sealevel Construction, Inc., for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. P070801, Furnish and Install Flex Rake Bar Screen Cleaners at the Davis-Barton and Kellogg Pump Stations, be hereby accepted, in the amount of $825,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
