ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) for Parish Project No. P980703 Destrehan I Pump Station to move all construction outside of railroad right-of-way.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 01-11-4 adopted November 5, 2001 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Boh Bros. Construction Company, L.L.C. for the construction of Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade in the amount of $3,179,684.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-2-2 adopted February 18, 2001 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Engineering Services Contract with URS Corporation to provide the necessary services in moving all construction outside of railroad right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, design changes to this project were necessary due to the lack of issuance of a railroad permit.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS,
SECTION I. That Change Order No. Two (2) to the contract for Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade to move all construction outside of railroad right-of-way is hereby approved in the sum of $2,156.00 and no increase contract time.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
