Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 22-12-6 which approved the Professional Services Agreement with AIMS Group, Inc., for the Ormond Oaks Channel (Project No. P210203), in the amount not to exceed $67,403.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 22-12-6 adopted on December 5, 2022, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and AIMS Group, Inc., to perform engineering services for Ormond Oaks Channel (Project No. P210203), in the not to exceed amount of $29,900.00; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish has requested AIMS Group, Inc., to complete the design, bid and construction of the preferred option from the study, as chosen by St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and AIMS Group, Inc., have mutually agreed upon a not to exceed fee of $67,403.00 to complete the work.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and AIMS Group, Inc., for engineering services for the Ormond Oaks Channel (Parish Project No. P210203), in the total not to exceed amount of $67,403.00 to increase the overall contract value to $97,303.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
