Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No 1 for Killona Park, Phase II Improvements to decrease the contact amount by $83,647.00.

WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 08-12-5 on December 1, 2008, approving a contract with Frickey Brothers Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Killona Park Phase II Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, said contract approval included Alternate No. 1, however the State Grant Office has now informed the Parish that funding for the Alternate is not available; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish to delete said Alternate.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Frickey Brothers Construction, Inc. for the Killona Park Phase II Improvements is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 1 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this _____ day of ___________, 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
