ORDINANCE NO.                        

Title

An ordinance to approve a Lease of Commercial Property with St. John the Baptist Parish to house the Workforce Investment Office for the St. John Parish.

Body

WHEREAS,      the St. Charles Parish is the Administrative Entity for the Workforce Investment Act Program in the River Parishes; and

WHEREAS,      the St. John the Baptist Parish Office is located at 471 Central Avenue in Reserve; and

WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish Council to renew the lease for this office.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That the Lease of Commercial Property between St. John the Baptist Parish and St. Charles Parish is hereby approved; and,

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Lease of Commercial Property on behalf of St. Charles Parish, Workforce Investment Act.
