Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-3 to C-3 on approximately 4 acres of a 6.09 acre undesignated lot, 13517 Highway 90, Boutte as requested by Wadhah Alhusseini.
Body
WHEREAS, Wadhah Alhusseini requests a rezoning from R-3 to C-3 on approximately 4 acres of a 6.09 acre undesignated lot, 13517 Highway 90, Boutte as shown on the survey by Nathan J. Junius, PE, PLS dated March 29, 2024; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting on June 6, 2024.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-3 to C-3 on approximately 4 acres of a 6.09 acre undesignated lot, 13517 Highway 90, Boutte as shown on the survey by Nathan J. Junius, PE, PLS dated March 29, 2024, as requested by Wadhah Alhusseini.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R-3 to C-3 on approximately 4 acres of a 6.09 acre undesignated lot, 13517 Highway 90, Boutte as shown on the survey Nathan J. Junius, PE, PLS dated March 29, 2024, as requested by Wadhah Alhusseini.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2024, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
