Title

WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 15-4-7 on April 6, 2015, approving and authorizing the Lafourche Basin Levee District to purchase and/or expropriate the necessary real estate interest to a portion of land owned by Willowridge Estates, LLC, designated as Parcel 7-4 for the West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee, Phase II - Perimeter of Willowridge Estates from the Blouin Canal to the Davis Pond Guide Levee, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, Sta. 100+00.00 to Sta. 212+46.34, and authorizing the transfer of the necessary funding thereof; and,
WHEREAS, The St. Charles Parish Council desires to consent to revisions to the fourth "WHEREAS" and "SECTION II."
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the fourth "WHEREAS" is revised to state: the Lafourche Basin Levee District will provide just compensation offers and negotiate in good faith with landowners Willowridge Estates, LLC, to acquire the necessary real estate interest to Parcel 7-4 at fair-market values established by two (2) certified independent appraisals.
