Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 3 for the West Regional Library Renovation located at 105 Lakewood Drive in Luling, to increase the contract amount by $4,860.78 and to increase the contract time by eight (8) days.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 16-3-3 on March 7, 2016, approving and authorizing the execution of a contract with Dynamic Constructors, LLC, for Project No. P151101, for the renovation of the West Regional Library located at 105 Lakewood Drive in Luling; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the original contract to reflect those items more fully described in Change Order No. 3, said adjustment as recommended by Plus One Design, to increase the dollar amount by $4,860.78 and increase the contract time by 8 days; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Change Order No. 3.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 3 for the West Regional Library Renovation to increase the contract amount by $4,860.78 and increase the contract time by eight (8) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 3 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2017, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
