Title
A resolution officially abolishing the Qualification Based Selection Review Panel.
Body
WHEREAS, The Qualification Based Selection (QBS) procedure for the awarding of Professional Services Contracts based on Qualifications was adopted on November 2, 1992 per Ordinance No. 92-11-2 and was repealed on February 15, 1993 per Ordinance No. 93-2-20; and,
WHEREAS, on February 15, 1993, Ordinance No. 93-2-21 was adopted which established a Review Panel; providing for the membership of said Panel; and defining the purposes and duties of said Panel; and,
WHEREAS, The Review Panel Members were appointed by the Parish Council and were charged with the responsibility of selecting architects and engineers in accordance with the provisions set forth; and,
WHEREAS, on June 16, 2008 the Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 08-6-9 to repeal Section 2-12 Qualification based selection procedures for the procurement of architects and engineers excluding Special Provisions; and,
WHEREAS, since the adoption of Ordinance No. 08-6-9 the Qualification Based Selection Review Panel has been abolished.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby officially abolish the Qualification Based Selection Review Panel.
