Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 05-12-6 which approved Change Order No 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P021201, Road Maintenance 2005 to correct the amount of contract decrease to $23,247.79.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 05-12-6 on December 5, 2005 which approved Change Order No. 1 (Final) for the Road Maintenance 2005 project; and,
WHEREAS, said Change Order was listed on the ordinance as a $53,996.81 decrease when in fact the actual decrease was $23,247.79 as noted on the actual Change Order attached to the Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to correct said Ordinance.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 05-12-6 adopted on December 5, 2005 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION I. That Change Order No 1 (Final) for the Road Maintenance 2005 contract with Barriere Construction Co, L.L.C. is hereby approved to decrease the contract amount by $23,247.79 and to increase the contract time by 35 calendar days."

And the resolution was declared adopted this _______ day of , 2006, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
