Title
A resolution supporting the application to the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program for FY 2019-2020 funding in the amount of $165,700 to renovate the St. Charles Parish Courthouse Heating and cooling system; an essential government building located at 15045 River Road in Hahnville.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Legislature House Bill 2 (Act 20) allocated $165,700 per parish for the Local Government Assistance Program for fiscal year 2019-2020; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Courthouse is in need of renovations to the air conditioning and heating system, which is an activity that is eligible for assistance under the program; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish Council's support for the application to have said project included in the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, hereby provide this resolution in support of the application for the inclusion of the renovation of the St. Charles Parish Courthouse heating and cooling system located at 15045 River Road in Hahnville in the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program for FY 2019-2020.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said application and to act on behalf of St. Charles Parish in all matters pertaining to this project and subsequent grant award.
