Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 (FINAL) for Parish Project No P020902-5, East Bank Multi-Use Path, Phase VI, State Project No. H.009763.6, Federal Aid Project No. H009763 to balance contract quantities with actual quantities with a decrease of $2,908.80.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 18-11-7 adopted November 26, 2018 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P020902-5, East Bank Multi-Use Path Phase VI, State Project No. H.009763.6, Federal Aid Project No H009763, to Magee Excavation & Development, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 21-6-10 adopted June 7, 2021 by the St. Charles Parish Council approved Change Order No. 1 which resulted in an increase to the contract amount by $230,903.48; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to add the additional work and to adjust the original contract quantities with final contract quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $2,908.80,
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 2 (FINAL) for Parish Project No. P020902-5, East Bank Multi-Use Path Phase VI, State Project No. H.009763.6, Federal Aid Project No. H009763, to decrease the contract amount by $2,908.80 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
SECTION III. St Charles Parish considers the project complete and accepts all improvements and modifications installed during execution of the project.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
