Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Andritz Separation Inc., for the construction of Parish Project No. S070801, Furnish and Assist in Installation of an In-Channel Perforated Plate Traveling Belt Screen in the amount of $268,600.00 at the Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on October 4, 2007, for Furnish and Assist in Installation of an In-Channel Perforated Plate Traveling Belt Screen; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish Department of Wastewater for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Andritz Separation Inc., in the amount of $268,600.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Andritz Separation Inc., for the construction of St. Charles Parish Project No. S070801, Furnish and Assist in Installation of an In-Channel Perforated Plate Traveling Belt Screen, be hereby accepted, in the amount of $268,600.00 at the Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ____ day of ______ , 2007, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
