Title
An ordinance to revoke and abandon a portion of Benidorm Street, Benidorm Square, Hahnville, LA, said property serving no public use.
Body
WHEREAS, certain properties were laid out for use as public streets on a plat of Benidorm Square, Hahnville, by E.M. Collier dated June 16, 1969 and an Act of Dedication of Public Streets by Keller Paul Madere, Et Al dated December 30, 1969 and recorded in COB #36,067; and,
WHEREAS, since dedication, Benidorm Street has not been improved and a portion of it has no public use and/or benefit; and,
WHEREAS, Monarch Holmes, LLC has requested that a certain portion of Benidorm Street be revoked, as more fully shown on the plat of Resubdivision of Lots 2A-1, 3A, & 4A, Pap's Place, Lot 5A Benidorm Square a portion of Benidorm Street to be revoked into Lot 5B, in Section 26 & 27, T13S-R20E, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, as prepared by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated August 9, 2005.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Revocation of certain properties laid out for use as a public street, as identified on a survey by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS, dated August 9, 2005, located in Sections 26 and 27, Township 13 South, Range 20 East Benidorm Square, Hahnville, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Revocation.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this _____ day of ___________, 2005, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
