Title
A resolution requesting the Administration provide the Parish Council through the Council Secretary with a bi-weekly report to begin on September 6, 2013 as to the activities the Administration is planning, undertaking, and/or has undertaken with regards to repairs, improvements, proposed improvements, and/or work within the Sunset Drainage District which was previously undertaken, addressed, or was the responsibility of the Board of Commissioners.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13-8-5 was adopted on August 5, 2013 which appointed and designated the St. Charles Parish Council as the governing authority of the Sunset Drainage District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners previously kept the property owners of the Sunset Drainage District informed and up to date on their activities within the District; and numerous property owners have requested the same from the new Governing; and,
WHEREAS, with the Council being the Governing Authority of the District responsible to the property owners in the District, it is requested that the Council be informed regularly of the activities the Administration is planning, undertaking, and /or has undertaken with regards to repairs, improvements, proposed improvements, and/or work within the Sunset Drainage District which was previously undertaken, addressed, or was the responsibility of the Board of Commissioners.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the Administration provide the Parish Council through the Council Secretary with a bi-weekly report to begin on September 6, 2013 as to the activities the Administration is planning, undertaking, and/or has undertaken with regards to repairs, improvements, proposed improvements, and/or work within the Sunset Drainage District which was previously undertaken, addressed, or was the responsibility of the Boar...
