An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Boh Bros. Construction, L.L.C. for the construction of Project P980703 Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade in the amount of $3,179,684.00 contingent upon St. Charles Parish receiving railroad permits.

Body

WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received by the Parish on September 28, 2001, for the Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade Project; and,

WHEREAS,      URS Corporation, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Boh Bros. Construction, L.L.C., in the amount of $3,179,684.00.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That the bid of Boh Bros. Construction, L.L.C. for the construction of Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade be hereby accepted in the amount of $3,179,684.00.

      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

      The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
