Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) - Final for Parish Project No. P020703, Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Local Community Development Block Grant Program - Street Improvements, to decrease the contract amount by $43,617.95 and to decrease the contract time by 42 days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-10-04, adopted October 7, 2002, by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P020703, Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Local Community Development Block Grant Program - Street Improvements, to Barriere Construction Co., L.L.C.; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $43,617.95 in the contract amount and to decrease the contract time by 42 calendar days.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Administration is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. One (1) - Final for the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Local Community Development Block Grant Program - Street Improvements contract to decrease the contract amount by $43,617.95 and to decrease the contract time by 42 days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
