A resolution requesting the assistance and support of the Louisiana Congressional Delegation on priority projects for St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish Council firmly believes the following listed issues are priority projects which will benefit all of the citizens of St. Charles Parish:
I. Eastbank Hurricane Protection Levee Funding
II. Eastbank Hurricane Protection Pump Funding
III. Westbank Hurricane Protection Levee Funding
IV. Westbank Hurricane Protection Pump Funding
V. Internal Drainage Funds (SELA)
VI. Airport Expansion
VII. Water/Wastewater Regionalization
WHEREAS, the Parish Council is requesting our Congressional Delegation assist in promoting and/or funding these projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the assistance and support of the Louisiana Congressional Delegation on priority projects for St. Charles Parish.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution and attached correspondence be distributed to Senator Mary Landrieu, Senator David Vitter, Representative Bobby Jindal, Representative Charlie Melancon, and members of their Staff.

And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2006, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
