Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One for Parish Project No. P970702 Paul Maillard Road Sidewalk to decrease the contract amount by $158,371.51.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 99-12-13 adopted December 6, 1999 by the St.
Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with LA Contracting Enterprises, LLC for the construction of the Paul Maillard Road Sidewalk in the amount of $450,238.00.
SECTION II. That it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities to remover all the incomplete portions of the sidewalk paving so this portion can be repackaged and rebid by LADOTD.
SECTION III. That it is necessary to decrease the contract amount by $158,371.51.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Paul Maillard Road Sidewalk and to decrease the contract amount by $158,371.51.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
