Proclamation: United Way Pacesetter Campaign

P R O C L A M A T I O N
WHEREAS, On Monday August 16, 1999, Entergy Waterford 3 and Carter Chambers, LLC will kickoff a United Way Pacesetter Campaign; and,
WHEREAS, An effective Pacesetter Campaign raises substantial new dollars in order to improve momentum and "set the pace" for the other companies that kickoff in September; and,
WHEREAS, Entergy Waterford 3 and Carter Chambers, LLC through advanced preparation and solicitation hopes to "set the pace" for others through the achievement of excellent campaign results; and,
WHEREAS, Entergy Waterford 3 and Carter Chambers, LLC have always demonstrated their commitment to United Way through excellent employee and corporate financial support and volunteer involvement in United Way activities.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, DO HEREBY RECOGNIZE AND APPLAUD ENTERGY WATERFORD 3 AND CARTER CHAMBERS, LLC FOR SETTING THE PACE WITH THIS EXTRAORDINARY COMMUNITY COMMITMENT.
