Title
A resolution to approve the assignment of an Oil, Gas and Mining Lease with Texaco, Inc. to MVP Production, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Police Jury, on July 25, 1967 approved an oil, gas and mining lease with Texaco, Inc. on certain property in the Paradis Field; and,
WHEREAS, Texaco, Inc. in accordance with Section 8 of said lease, has requested that the Parish approve the assignment of said lease to MVP Production, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said assignment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby approve the assignment of the Oil, Gas and Mining Lease, dated July 25, 1967 by and between the St. Charles Parish Police Jury and Texaco, Inc., to MVP Production, Inc.
