An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification from R-1A to C-2 on Lot 3 of Block 2 of Gassen Subdivision, 106 Gassen Street, as requested by Keith Collura.

WHEREAS, Keith Collura purchased Lot 3 of Block 2 of Gassen Subdivision, 106 Gassen Street in 2012; and,
WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1A; and,
WHEREAS, the owner requests rezoning of the lot to C-2 to accommodate expansion of Coastal Gulf and International; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommend approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of July 10, 2014.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve the change in land use zoning classification from R-1A to C-2 on Lot 3 of Block 2 of Gassen Subdivision as requested by Keith Collura.
SECTION II. To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect this reclassification from R-1A to C-2 on Lot 3 of Block 2 of Gassen Subdivision as requested by Keith Collura.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2014 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
