IN   RECOGNITION

 

WHEREAS,                      Caleb Charles Roper is a resident of St. Charles Parish, residing in Montz, Louisiana with his mother Shannon, his father Dwayne, and sister Katelyn; and,

WHEREAS,                     Caleb is a member of Troop 317 chartered by Southeast Louisiana Council, Boy Scouts of America, in Destrehan; he started his Scouting career August 2010; and,

WHEREAS,                     Caleb has spent 12 years as an active member of the Scouts spending 6 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,

WHEREAS,                     Caleb has earned his 26 merit badges from a list of 137 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by restoring an accessible walkway in the Bonnet Carré Spillway; and,

WHEREAS,                     Caleb earned these 26 merit badges by showing leadership abilities as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Troop Guide; and,

WHEREAS,                     Caleb rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on January 18, 2022, and received his medal in a ceremony on August 6, 2022, at the St. Charles United Methodist Church in Destrehan; and,

WHEREAS,                     Caleb is a 2024 graduate of Destrehan High School, and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership in his future endeavors.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
