IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Alysia “Lecy” Marie Cazalot is a resident of St. Charles Parish, residing in Destrehan, Louisiana with her parents Duanne and Al Cazalot; and,
WHEREAS, Lecy was born with the rarest form of Down Syndrome known as Mosaic. She is a 2005 Special Education Graduate of Destrehan High School and a Gold medal recipient for the St. Charles Parish Special Olympics in Bowling, Softball, and Track; and,
WHEREAS, on August 7, 2016, Lecy was crowned the 10th Festival of Charities Butterfly Queen at the Annual Festival of Charities Pageant held at the American Legion Hall in St Rose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
