An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification from OL to C-3 on proposed Lot F-4 Youngs Estates, south of 14031 Hwy 90, Boutte as requested by Angelo Puglise and Ruth Gambino Puglise.

WHEREAS, Proposed Lot F-4 Youngs Estate (south of 14031 Hwy 90) Boutte is zoned OL; and,
WHEREAS, the property owners have requested a rezone from OL to C-3; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of May 1, 2014.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve a zoning classification change from OL to C-3 (PZR-2014-04) on proposed Lot F-4 Youngs Estates, south of 14031 Hwy 90, Boutte as shown on a survey from Lucien C. Gassen dated March 20, 2014.
SECTION II. To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect said change from OL to C-3 on proposed Lot F-4 Youngs Estates, south of 14031 Hwy 90, Boutte.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2014 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
