Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with A.D.S. Systems, LLC, for the Courthouse Fire Alarm System Project P130528 in the amount of $165,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The St Charles Parish Council desires to provide adequate notification in the event of an emergency to the employees and visitors to the St Charles Parish Courthouse; and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on July 26, 2013, for the Courthouse Fire Alarm System Project P130528 at 15045 River Road in Hahnville; and,
WHEREAS, Vanguard Technologies, the Courthouse Security Consultant, has reviewed the bids and recommended that the project be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, A.D.S. Systems, LLC, in the amount of $165,000.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of A.D.S. Systems, LLC, for the Courthouse Fire Alarm System Project be hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $165,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
