Title
A resolution endorsing a waiver from the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Section VI. Zoning District Criteria and Regulations, C. Commercial Districts, [I] CR-1, 2.b.(1) minimum front yard as requested by Diandray and Kenneth Martin Jr.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 requires that the St. Charles Parish Council endorse waivers for special permit uses; and,
WHEREAS, the applicant requests a waiver from the required 20-foot front yard to 8-feet 5-inches on the River Road side of lot L1-A-1 of Riverview Estates, St. Rose; and,
WHEREAS, approving the waiver would result in an encroachment of approximately 160 square feet of a proposed single-family house; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the special permit use with the required waiver at their November 7, 2019 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, hereby provides this endorsement of a waiver from the required 20-foot front yard to 8-feet 5-inches in order to permit a single-family house on Lot L1-A-1, Riverview Estates, St. Rose, as shown on a plan submitted by Kenneth and Diandray Martin Jr.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
