Title
An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, adopted October 19, 1981 to approve the change of zoning classification from R-1A to C-2 (approx. 4.73 acres) on lots A-C, D-2, E-2, F-H, J-O, 1-E, 2-E, 3-E, 4-E, 33-38, Sq 3, Destrehan Park Subdivision, generally located north of River Rd (LA 48) between Jonathan and Modoc Streets, south of Amie Street, Destrehan., as requested by Bunge North America, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, the applicant requests a zoning change from R-1A to C-2 on the subject property; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission held the required public hearing on November 7, 2013 on case file PZR-2013-21, and forwarded a recommendation of approval to the Parish Council.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An Ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, adopted October 19, 1981, to approve the change of zoning classification from R-1A to C-2 (approx. 4.73 acres) on lots A-C, D-2, E-2, F-H, J-O, 1-E, 2-E, 3-E, 4-E, 33-38, Sq 3, Destrehan Park Subdivision, generally located north of River Rd (LA 48) between Jonathan and Modoc Streets, south of Amie Street, Destrehan, more specifically shown on a survey by Stephen Flynn dated October 13, 2013, as requested by Bunge North America, Inc.
SECTION II. To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Maps to reflect this reclassification from R-1A to C-2 on approximately 4.73 acres generally located north of River Rd (LA 48) between Jonathan and Modoc Streets, south of Amie Street, Destrehan, as requested by Bunge North America, Inc.
SECTION III. To authorize the Department of Planning and Zoning to change the Future Land Use Map, in the Comprehensive Land Use Plan adopted under ordinance 11-6-11 from Rural Residential t...
