RESOLUTION NO.
Title
A resolution to appoint Ms. Jan Thompson to the Library Service District Board of Control.
Body
WHEREAS, There exists a vacancy on the LIBRARY SERVICE DISTRICT BOARD OF CONTROL due to the due to the resignation of Ms. Lynette Bush on October 6, 2008; and,
WHEREAS, It is the desire of the Parish Council to fill this vacancy; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Ms. Jan Thompson, 202 Matherne Drive, Des Allemands, LA 70030 be appointed to the LIBRARY SERVICE DISTRICT BOARD OF CONTROL; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this appointment shall be effective as of IMMEDIATELY and expire APRIL 1, 2011.

And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2008, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
