RESOLUTION NO.              

Title

A resolution requesting an Attorney General Opinion which advises the Parish Council as to the steps and/or actions it has at its disposal to have a project for which funds have been appropriated and approved in the Parish budget implemented.

Body

WHEREAS,      Article V of the St. Charles Parish Home Rule Charter sets forth the procedure for the adoption of the budget by the Parish Council; and,

WHEREAS,      the Attorney General has provided Opinion 12-0231 and Opinion 14-0113 which somewhat relate to the requested opinion.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request an Attorney General Opinion which advises the Parish Council as to the steps and/or actions it has at its disposal to have a project for which funds have been appropriated and approved in the Parish budget implemented.

      The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
