ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Amendment No. 3 to the Contract by and between the Parish of St. Charles and Tetra Tech, Inc. for Monitoring of Disaster Generated Debris Removal and Disaster Management and Technical Services, Parish Project No. P090903, extending the contract end date.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 13-5-12 on May 20, 2013, approving a Contract for Monitoring of Disaster Generated Debris Removal and Disaster Management and Technical Services, Parish Project No. P090903, with Science Applications International Corporation; and,
WHEREAS, the contract was executed on May 23, 2013 and ending on December 31, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, the contract has been amended twice previously changing the contractor business name from Science Applications International Corporation to Leidos, Inc. and then to Tetra Tech, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and Tetra Tech, Inc. desire to extend the contract end date an additional year, as allowed in the contract, to December 31, 2017.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 3 to the Contract by and between the Parish of St. Charles and Tetra Tech, Inc. for Monitoring of Disaster Generated Debris Removal and Disaster Management and Technical Services, Parish Project No. P090903 to extend the contract end date to December 31, 2017 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment No. 3 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
