Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 07-9-2, a Property Lease Agreement between River Parishes Community Development Corporation and the Parish of St. Charles for a Business Incubator at 917 Third Street in Norco, to transfer the interest of said Corporation to Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 07-9-2 on September 4, 2007 approving a property Lease Agreement between River Parishes Community Development Corporation and the Parish of St. Charles for a Business Incubator at 917 Third Street in Norco; and,
WHEREAS, the River Parishes Community Development Corporation has requested that the Parish of St. Charles transfer their interest in said Lease to Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to said Lease has been prepared to complete said transfer; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said transfer.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 07-9-2 adopted September 4, 2007 is hereby approved to transfer the interest of the River Parishes Development Corporation to Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc. for the Business Incubator at 917 Third Street in Norco effective October 1, 2010.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment No. 1 on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
