Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Bartlett Construction, Inc., for the construction of the 80 Arpent Pump Station Improvements in the amount of $1,709,775.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on December 17, 1999, for the 80 Arpent Pump Station Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc., consulting engineer for the project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, Bartlett Construction, Inc., in the amount of $1,709,775.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Bartlett Construction, Inc., for the construction of the 80 Arpent Pump Station Improvements Project be and hereby accepted in the amount of $1,709,775.00; and,
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 1999, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
