Title
An ordinance to amend the 2002 Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget to transfer funds from the General Fund to the Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 to cover emergency expenses to repair the water line in Ama, LA.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2002 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget was adopted by Ordinance No. 01-10-13 on October 18, 2001; and amended February 15, 2002 by Executive Order 02-1, March 20, 2002 by Executive Order 02-2, March 25, 2002 by Ordinance No. 02-3-7, April 10, 2002 by Executive Order 02-3, June 5, 2002 by Executive Order 02-4, and August 5, 2002 by Ordinance No. 02-8-2; and,
WHEREAS, the Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 budget does not have sufficient funding to cover this expense. The Council has taken under consideration the study of the amendment to the St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget for fiscal year 2002 as shown by the Revision Schedule.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That in accordance with the provisions of Article V, Sections D, E, and F of the St. Charles Parish Home Rule Charter and with the Louisiana Local Government Budget Act (R.S. 39:1301 et. seq.), the St. Charles Parish Council does hereby ordain to adopt the 2002 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget as amended, and that it be attached hereto and made a part hereof and identified as "Exhibit A".

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
