ORDINANCE NO.                   

Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P060405, Road Maintenance 2007, to increase the contract time by 11 days and to decrease the contract amount by $61,069.75.

Body

WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 07-7-6 adopted July 23, 2007 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P060405, Road Maintenance 2007, to Barriere Construction Company, LLC; and,

WHEREAS,      it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in an increase to the contract time by 11 days and a decrease to the contract amount by $61,069.75.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P060405, Road Maintenance 2007, to increase the contract time by 11 days and to decrease the contract amount by $61,069.75.

SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
