IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Devin Naquin, a resident of Des Allemands, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish, is a graduating Senior at Hahnville High School; and,
WHEREAS, Devin has excelled in academics and is the Hahnville High School Salutatorian for the graduating class of 2003; and,
WHEREAS, Devin during his years at Hahnville was a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Quizbowl Team, and Science Olympiad; and,
WHEREAS, Devin placed second in the State Literary Rally for Calculus; and,
WHEREAS, Devin is a part of the New Orleans Linux Users Group, a computer operating systems group; and,
WHEREAS, Devin is A+ Certified and has a School to Career Job with St. Charles Parish Schools; and,
WHEREAS, Devin will be attending Rice University in the fall, pursuing a degree in Mathematics and plans to become a math professor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
