Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with DRC Emergency Services, LLC and Lemoine Disaster Recovery, L.L.C. for Disaster Recovery Services for St. Charles Parish.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish may from time to time experience massive destruction wrought by the impact of a hurricane, violent storm, tornadoes, flooding and/or other emergency events; and,
WHEREAS, it may be necessary to provide massive disaster recovery services to preserve and protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens and property of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish issued a Request for Proposals for these type of disaster recovery services to select qualified contractors to perform these services in a manner that achieves federal reimbursement; and,
WHEREAS, the Request for Proposals was publicly advertised and sealed proposals were received; and,
WHEREAS, all proposals have been reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the Award Criteria set for in the Request for Proposals and it is recommended that two non-exclusive contracts be issued; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish recommends that a non-exclusive contract be awarded to DRC Emergency Services, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish recommends that a non-exclusive contract be awarded to Lemoine Disaster Recovery, L.L.C.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That two non-exclusive Professional Services Agreements, one between St. Charles Parish and DRC Emergency Services, LLC and the other between St. Charles Parish and Lemoine Disaster Recovery, L.L.C. are hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreements on behalf of St. Charles Parish, along with any other documents as the Parish President deems necessary to carry out the intent of this ordinance.
