ORDINANCE NO.                                                                 

Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P080502-18A, Oak Street Pump Station Improvements, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $103,895.00 in contract price and an increase in the contract time by 42 days.

Body

WHEREAS,                     St. Charles Parish awarded a contract to Sealevel Construction, Inc. with a contract price of $1,062,870.00 and a contract time of 240 days; and,

WHEREAS,                     the contract is substantially complete; and,

WHEREAS,                     it is necessary to amend the contract resulting in a decrease in the contract price by $103,895.00 and an increase in the contract time by 42 days as shown on the Change Order form.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.                     That Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P080502-18A, Oak Street Pump Station Improvements, to decrease the contract price by $103,895.00 and increase the contract time by 42 days is hereby approved and accepted.

SECTION II.                     That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said change order on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

And the ordinance was declared adopted this               day of                     , 2020, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
