IN   RECOGNITION
WHEREAS,      Coach Lou Valdin and his wife Robin are residents of Luling, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish and they are the proud parents of three daughters, Lauren, Amanda, and Heather; and,
WHEREAS,      Coach Valdin, 2004 Metro, and District 6-5A Coach of the Year, has coached the Hahnville Tigers for the past six seasons to a 65 & 11 record; and,
WHEREAS,      Coach Valdin has received numerous honors during his coaching career; they are:  2004 Louisiana West All Star Coach; 2003 Louisiana State 5A Coach of the Year; 2003 Nokia Sugar Bowl High School Coach of the Year; 2003 River Parish and District 6-5A Coach of the Year; 2003 West Bank Quarterback Club Coach of the Year; 2003 NFL New Orleans Saints High School Coach of the Year; 2002 District 6-5A Coach of the Year; 2002 Pro Football Hall of Fame High School Delegate; 2002 USA All-Star Team Global Championship Coaching Staff; 2001 Louisiana Football Magazine South Region Coach of the Year; 2000 River Parish and District 7-5A Coach of the Year; 2003, 1999, and 1997 New Orleans Saints Coach of the Week.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
