Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with B & K Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of Parish Project P060501, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Phase I - Magnolia Ridge Clearing & Grubbing Part 2, in the amount of $120,495.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on July 6, 2006 for Parish Project P060501, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Phase I - Magnolia Ridge Clearing & Grubbing Part 2; and,
WHEREAS, Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, B & K Construction Co., Inc., in the amount of $120,495.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of B & K Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of Parish Project P060501, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Phase I - Magnolia Ridge Clearing & Grubbing Part 2, be hereby accepted in the amount of $120,495.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2006, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
