IN RECOGNITION
Former Division A, Councilman-At-Large Bobby Donaldson is a lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish, residing with his wife Linda in Norco, Louisiana.
Bobby is a graduate of Destrehan High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was wounded in Vietnam. He retired from Shell Oil Company after 32 years of dedicated service.
Bobby served on the St. Charles Parish Planning & Zoning Commission from May 31, 1986 to May 31, 1993. He joined the St. Charles Parish Administration in 2008 under former Parish President V.J. St. Pierre, Jr. as the Purchasing Officer and then the Chief Operations Officer.
Bobby was appointed as the Councilman-At-Large, Division A Councilmember on September 21, 2020, filling the unexpired term of Councilwoman Wendy Benedetto.
Bobby served as a member of the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Management Committee, Contract/Finance and Administrative Committee, Legislative Committee, Special Projects/Public Safety, Health and Environmental Committee, Hurricane Protection Projects Committee, and the Sunset Drainage District Board of Commissioners.
Bobby served as a member of the St. Charles Parish Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Advisory Council, the Louisiana Police Jury Association, and the National Association of County Officials. He is a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus, and Norco Civic Association.
We want to thank Former Councilman Bobby Donaldson for his dedication and service to the citizens of St. Charles Parish and wish him and Ms. Linda the best in all of their future endeavors.
