IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, John William Reinagel, III is a resident of St. Charles Parish, residing in Destrehan, Louisiana with his mother Laurie, his father John, and sister Mary; and,
WHEREAS, John is a member of Troop 317 chartered by Southeast Louisiana Council, Boy Scouts of America, in Destrehan; he started his Scouting career September 2014; and,
WHEREAS, John has spent the last 10 years as an active member of the Scouts spending the last 5 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, John has earned his 31 merit badges from a list of 137 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by painting the interior of Gracepoint Church in Destrehan; and,
WHEREAS, John earned these 31 merit badges by showing leadership abilities as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, Patrol Leader, and Assistant Patrol Leader; and,
WHEREAS, John rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on September 20, 2023, and received his medal in a ceremony on June 1, 2024, at the St. Charles United Methodist Church in Destrehan; and,
WHEREAS, John is a Sophomore at Destrehan High School, and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership for Troop 317.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
