Title
An ordinance to name a private driveway located on Lot GV-2X, Gassen Villa Subdivision, as requested by Wells One Investments, LLC.
Body
WHEREAS, Lot GV-2X of Gassen Villa Subdivision, Luling, was zoned R-3, Multi-family residential by Ordinance 16-1-2; and,
WHEREAS, R-3 zoning allows a servitude of access or private driveway for access; and,
WHEREAS, the property owner has submitted plans for five dwelling units to be accessed by a private drive named FRANCIS LANE; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council wishes to ensure that service providers can locate these dwelling units by officially naming the driveway.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the private driveway that will be built on Lot GV-2X of Gassen Villa Subdivision shall be named "Francis Lane."
SECTION II. That a copy of this ordinance be sent to the St. Charles Parish Communications District, the St. Charles Parish Planning Department, and the U.S. Postal Service.
SECTION III. That the Parish Administration is directed to install a street sign to mark the private driveway.
SECTION IV. If any word, clause, phrase, section or other portion of this ordinance is declared null, void, invalid, illegal or unconstitutional, the remaining words, clauses, phrases, sections and other portions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect, the provisions of this ordinance hereby being declared to be severable.
SECTION V. That the adoption of this ordinance shall not affect the status of any private or public streets, regarding maintenance or any other public facilities or services, and is for identification purposes only.
