IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, on February 4, 2001, Almighty God, in His Infinite Wisdom, saw fit to call from amongst us one of His most worthy servants, Anthony "Chuck" Byrd; and,
WHEREAS, Anthony "Chuck" Byrd was both a loving father and grandfather and a dedicated Public Servant; and,
WHEREAS, Anthony "Chuck" Byrd began working for the Department of Public Works on March 26, 1990 as a Laborer, promoted to Warehouse Clerk and then on July 24, 1995 "Chuck" began working as the Parish's Courier; and,
WHEREAS, Anthony "Chuck" Byrd was a member of the American Legion Post 509 in Ama; VFW; and Odd Fellows Lodge #2842; and,
WHEREAS, Anthony "Chuck" Byrd was a life-long resident of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, on behalf of all citizens of St. Charles Parish, the Parish Council and the Parish President wish to posthumously honor ANTHONY "CHUCK" BYRD as an outstanding and dedicated Public Servant of the Parish of St. Charles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, duly assembled on this 19th day of March, 2001, do hereby express our sincere sympathy to the family of
ANTHONY "CHUCK" BYRD

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that when this meeting is adjourned, it shall be done in memory of ANTHONY "CHUCK" BYRD.
