IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Charles Lumar, Jr., a resident of Boutte, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish, is a graduating Senior at Hahnville High School; and,
WHEREAS, Charles has excelled in academics and is the Hahnville High School Valedictorian for the graduating class of 2001; and,
WHEREAS, Charles was named "Student of the Year" for 2000; and,
WHEREAS, Charles during his years at Hahnville was a member of the Beta Club, the National Honor Society, the Quizbowl Team and the Science Olympiad; and,
WHEREAS, Charles was a member of the concert band and jazz band playing the tuba and bass guitar; and,
WHEREAS, Charles is also a member of the St. Charles Community Advisory Panel; and,
WHEREAS, Charles will be attending Loyola University in the fall, pursuing a degree in Music Business; and,
WHEREAS, Charles' main focus will be on the business, production and copyright aspect of the music field.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
CHARLES LUMAR, JR.
