IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Mary & Larry Triche have been married for 39 years and are residents of St. Charles Parish, currently residing in Norco, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, Mary attended the Louisiana Association for Family and Community Education Conference in Hammond, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, Mary has been a member of the Louisiana Association for Family and Community Education for 19 years and enjoys every moment of her volunteer work; and,
WHEREAS, Mary & Larry were nominated by The Happy Homemakers for the Outstanding Family and Community Education Award for St. Charles Parish as well as the State Award; and,
WHEREAS, Mary & Larry along with their children Pam McCarter, Patti Gaubert, Mary Beth Gaubert, Larry Jr., and Penny Triche were presented with the 2002 Outstanding Family and Community Education Award; and,
WHEREAS, Mary & Larry were named the "2002 - Outstanding FCE Family" for St. Charles Parish; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
MARY & LARRY TRICHE
